Discord alerts for creators

Your server hears it the moment they go live.

PulseNotify watches YouTube, Kick and Instagram accounts and posts an alert in your Discord channel when they upload, post a Reel or start a stream. Set it up with one slash command.

Platforms

What PulseNotify can watch

Every platform is connected through its official API. If a platform doesn't offer a legitimate way to follow an account, we don't support it.

Platform New uploads and posts Shorts and Reels Stream goes live Stream ends Status
YouTube Videos Shorts Yes Yes Available
Kick Not offered Not offered Yes Yes Available
Instagram Posts Reels Not offered Not offered Available

Twitch Not offered Not offered Yes Yes Coming soon
X (Twitter) Posts Not offered Not offered Not offered Coming soon

Facebook Meta only lets apps read a Page that has authorized them. No official API
TikTok TikTok has no way to follow a creator who hasn't connected their own account. No official API

Instagram works with public Business and Creator accounts. Personal accounts can't be looked up by any app. YouTube Premieres are announced as new videos when they start.

Features

Built for servers that care about the details

One alert per event

Every upload and stream is checked against a record of what was already announced. A restart in the middle of a stream won't post it again.

Your own message

Write the alert text yourself with placeholders like {creator} and {url}. Set one for all alerts or a different one per alert type.

Ping the right people

Mention a role, @everyone or nobody. Choose differently for uploads and streams on the same account.

Titles can't ping your server

Text that comes from a platform, like a video title containing "@everyone", is escaped. Only the mentions you configure ever go out.

Your name and avatar

Alerts post through a channel webhook. Rename it and give it any avatar in Discord's channel settings, and every alert follows.

Choose what gets announced

Turn each alert type on or off per account, and pick which ones show the full card with thumbnail and button.

Setup

Running in under two minutes

You need the Manage Server permission to configure PulseNotify.

  1. Add the bot

Invite PulseNotify to your server. Keep the Manage Webhooks permission so alerts can post under your own name and avatar.

  2. Add an account

Run /pulsenotify account-add, pick the platform, paste the handle or link and choose the channel. A role to mention is optional.

  3. Fine-tune the alerts

Use /pulsenotify alerts to pick alert types, and set a custom message or mention whenever you like. Each command opens a form with your current settings.

Custom message

Say it your way

Set this with /pulsenotify account-set-message. Leave it empty to go back to the default.

{creator}{title}{description}{url}{platform}{category}{viewers}{mention}

Questions

Good to know

How fast are alerts?

Kick is checked every 30 seconds. YouTube and Instagram start at 30 seconds and slow down slightly as more accounts are followed across all servers, so each platform's official usage limits are respected.

Do the creators need to approve anything?

No. PulseNotify only reads public information: public YouTube channels, public Kick channels and public Instagram Business or Creator accounts.

Why isn't TikTok or Facebook supported?

Neither platform has an official way to follow an account that hasn't connected itself to an app. The only alternative is scraping, which breaks their terms, so we don't do it.

Can two servers follow the same creator?

Yes. Each server keeps its own channels, messages and mentions, completely separate from every other server.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel whenever you like and your plan keeps working until the end of the month you already paid for. There are no contracts or cancellation fees.

What happens if I delete the alert channel?

PulseNotify marks the channel as unavailable and stops trying to post there. Run /pulsenotify status to see which accounts need a new channel.
